Fifteen years in construction
before a line of code

We find contractors work. Then we built the software to run it.

Google Ads, landing pages, and tracking that proves a lead was real — plus Apex HQ, the platform that carries the job from bid to paid.

Apex HQ LLC — marketing and software for home-service contractors across Marion, Linn, Benton and Polk counties, Oregon.

The three cuts in the mark are these three leaks. Same claw.

Most of your ad budget dies between the click and the phone call. Here is where.

01

The ad buys the wrong click.

Broad match, Search Partners, Display, "presence or interest" targeting — every default in Google Ads sells reach, not buyers. And one over-broad negative keyword can silently kill your highest-intent search while every report still looks clean.

02

The page doesn't ask.

A form that renders but never delivers. A call button that isn't a real tel: link. A hero button that navigates off the page to an anchor that doesn't exist. None of it visible in a screenshot.

Nothing here. The anchor doesn't exist. The visitor is gone.

Ours

Asks for the number. Right there.

03

The lead is never recorded.

A conversion tag stripped out by a deploy. A click ID lost in a redirect. A form submit that cancels the tracking beacon before it sends. The phone rings and the account still reads zero.

We test all three by transaction, not by opinion. A real form submitted and found in the inbox. A real call placed and found in the call report. Not a screenshot, not a green check.

What Apex HQ does

Paid search that buys buyers.

Google Ads built to be measured — county-level geography, exact and phrase keywords, negatives tested against your own money terms before they ship, and trade licence compliance handled where the state requires it in advertising.

Sites built to take the call.

Fast static pages, one per town where that earns traffic, with a form proven to reach a human and a number proven to ring.

The software that ties it together.

Tracking verified end to end, and reporting read from source data instead of retyped out of a dashboard.

The parts either side of the click.

Before the click · after the lead

A Google Business Profile claimed, verified and actually collecting reviews — because for a local trade that profile decides whether your ad gets picked at all. Job photos and video where people check you out before they call. And follow-up on the quotes that went quiet, which is the cheapest work most contractors are sitting on.

Why one shop, and what's behind it

Agencies run the ads. A web guy owns the site. Nobody owns the seam between them — so when the leads don't arrive, everyone has someone else to point at.

Same shop, all three. One number to call, and no gap for your money to fall through.

Apex HQ was built by a contractor, not an agency.

Fifteen years in construction sits behind it — mostly concrete. Jobs bid, crews run, payment chased, good work lost because it was sold badly. That's where the standards come from, and it's why the questions here are the ones a contractor would actually ask.

It shows in the software. In Apex HQ a field crew sees the job and nothing else — not leads, not estimates, not margins, not payroll. That was never a feature request. It's in there because it was built by someone who has handed a phone to a guy on site.

Concrete is the bulk of it, but the work is the work — fencing, roofing, siding and hardscape all get sold, scheduled and paid the same way.

Live work

Live Your Future Construction

fence contractor, mid-Willamette Valley

Google Ads search campaign across four counties. Thirteen town-level landing pages generated from a single source. Conversion tracking rebuilt — form delivery tested by submitting a real one, call tracking installed, and click attribution repaired through the redirect chain. Contractor licence compliance handled in the ad copy, where Oregon requires it shown.

The campaign is new. We'll publish numbers when there are honest numbers to publish.

Who this isn't for

Not a fit if: you want the cheapest website in town. You want to be number one on Google by Friday. Or you want a monthly report that looks good regardless of whether the phone rang.

Good fit if: you'd rather know your tracking was broken than see a flattering chart — and you'd rather work with someone who's been on the job than someone who's read about it.

The product

Apex HQ — the platform

Find the work. Bid the work. Win the work. Run the work. Track labor. Prove the work. Get paid.

Winning the job is where most software gives up. Apex HQ is built for what happens next: an opportunity scout that surfaces work daily, a bid board that makes bid/no-bid a decision instead of a guess, estimates, labour tracking, and field documentation that proves the work was done.

Role-aware by default — your field crew sees the job, not your margins, payroll or leads. And nothing risky happens on its own: the AI drafts and recommends, a human approves before anything reaches a customer.

Built first for concrete — the trade the fifteen years were spent in — then generalised for contractors broadly. Currently in a founding pilot. Not open for general signup yet — we're hardening it for multiple companies before we let more in.

How to start

01

Free audit.

Send whatever exists: an ad account, a website, or nothing. You get a written list of what's broken, in the order it's costing you money — which of your keywords your own negative list is blocking, whether your form actually delivers (we submit one), whether your tracking has ever recorded a single lead, and what your budget realistically buys at your market's click price. Yours to keep whether or not you hire us.

02

Scoped fix.

A fixed plan with the order of work stated up front — tracking first, then the page, then the ads — so a flat first month reads as plumbing rather than failure.

03

Run it.

Ongoing management, or a per-booked-estimate arrangement where we get paid when the phone produces work.
